Posting this up incase someone is looking for community forum funding ideas using BitCoins. Although it could work just as well in any other capacity.

Okay I'm going to put on my propeller PM hat for a second and explain how crowd source funding works using bitcoins so end users (all of us) can fund things we like. It's almost like volunteering by proxy.
Right now most everyone here is flat assed broke which means we've got time while looking for a gig. Disturbed is on limited income and mostly the place is run by volunteers that work pretty hard to chuck bums out. The site runs tight and clean, it's full of interesting people.
Problem is 'muny' to keep the good ship lollipop floating, never seems to be enough of it in a community venture. Therefore an experiment leveraging scale/size of a community to game a gain by using the power of large numbers in community action.
The experiment:
Crowd source funding LOP using Crypto currencies by leveraging crypto faucets that give away satoshi's (fractions of bitcoins) for free in exchange for being spammed with Ad's.
Judging by the user id counts there are nearly 300k worth of people, since I know most of us are here are underemployed or 'irregularly' employed, meaning everyone's got 15 minutes a month to offer the site.
I've rounded up all my Bitcoin faucets and wallet links into a quick blog post. Just click on them and they'll open into a new tab. Follow the instructions and then anyone can start collecting BitCoins for LOP donations with a couple of minutes a day to help out.

In lieu of money, we've all got time on our hands in combination with a lot of hands to help. And contrary to MSM belief BitCoins is money. Has been for a while. At this moment in time the things that are possible with BitCoin:
- Donate,
- Buy stuff with BitCoins,
- Gamble,
- Run websites,
- Hire people,
- Obtain services,
e.g.: If 2000 people here at LOP helped make 10000 satoshi in a month (dead easy just with the 5 minute faucets), that's 2 BTC. At todays exchange rate, that's around 600 bucks for Disturbed to pay for the site and maybe buy some extras.
Alternatively LOP, could in theory, set up their own faucet to get ad views to fund the site as a secondary feature to the website. There are about a dozen ways to leverage it, the goal however is to fund the site.

If you've got a banner ad I can put that up. Looks like you are just getting started with your site. I can also put it up on my other sites as well. Can't guarantee anything but if you got a referral system we'll call it a square trade.
